The Woman's Club of Oceanside Giving To A Worthy Cause

Valerie Pemberton, the Clubs Financial Secretary and Chairman of the Back to School Drive, has been working with member Heather Del Cuadro who’s students at Laurel Elementary School in Oceanside, will benefit from your donations. Here's a list of items that are needed by the students:

Ream(s) of lined paper

3 one subject notebooks (regular ruled)

Box of Ticonderoga Pencils

(fat or skinny sizes)

Box of Crayons

Box of Markers (Water-based)

Box of Blue Pens

Packets of construction paper

Box of Gluesticks

Bottle(s) of liquid glue

Ream(s) of white computer paper

Kid’s Safe scissors

Box(es) of Kleenex

Antbacterial wipes

Backpacks & hand sanitizer

This is a yearly donation from the club. If you'd like to get involved or donate to a worthy cause, contact Valerie Pemberton at 760-828-6564. The student will surely appreciate it!


On Friday, September 11, 2020, Rose Teding, President of WCO and Chairman of the Back Pack Drive Valerie Pemberton of the Woman's Club of Oceanside, Inc. delivered 30 plus back packs filled with goodies to Laurel Elementary School. Valerie Pemberton, Chairman of the Back Pack Drive, started working on this project since early August with contributions from members of the Woman's Club. It was a pleasure for WCO to contribute to Laurel Elementary. We hope the students have a productive, fun-filled academic school year.
